About Me

Built between places.

I grew up across Romania, Italy, and the United States, learning early how to adapt, listen, and adjust. That background shaped how I solve problems, understand people and systems, then build with both in mind.

Origin Story

Where I come from.

A few moves, a few languages, and a habit of paying attention before trying to fit in.

Early Childhood

2002 - 2010

Romania

I was born in Romania. I did not spend my whole life there, but the language, family, and culture still feel like the first layer.

Where it all started

Primary School

2010 - 2017

Italy

Italy is where I grew up: school, friends, habits, and a lot of the attitude I still carry. Loud, warm, chaotic, easy to miss.

First big move

High School

2017 - Present

United States

I moved to the United States as a teenager. New school, new expectations, new way of talking to people. It forced me to adapt fast.

Second big move

University

Currently

Rochester, NY

Rochester is where software engineering became serious. RIT gave me room to build, break things, and figure out what kind of engineer I want to be.

RIT

Moving around made me comfortable being new. It taught me to read the room, ask better questions, and learn the rules of a place before trying to change anything.

What drives me

Always curious. Always building.

I have been curious about how things work for as long as I can remember. Always looking for a challenge, always trying to figure things out.

That mindset led me to Software Engineering. Whether I am working on infrastructure, building interfaces, or exploring security, I focus on understanding things deeply and then putting them into practice.

Communication

Languages.

The languages I use across family, work, travel, and everyday life.

Education

Formal training.

A mix of university coursework and security credentials.

In ProgressRochester, NY

B.S. in Software Engineering

Rochester Institute of Technology

I went in curious about how software actually works at scale, and the program kept feeding that. Picked up a lot of systems thinking, got deep into security and infrastructure, and started building things.

Certifications

Security credentials.

Life outside the terminal

Beyond the keyboard.

The best engineers are well-rounded humans. These are the things that keep me sane and inspired.
